poem

Children of stars have cold distant mothers
The ones who shine in your life now just adopt you
  for a time
But the one who made you by fusing you inside her
died a long, long time ago when she pushed you out
  for a time
you sailed alone and threaded along and tugged
until you fell among many others from other mothers
whose cold deaths still leave their essence
  dense and darker than you
  and fell together once more
 and fell together once more
and fell together once more
and became all that is You
  for a time
